Good location but rude staff
The location
The staff. I reserved the room on my behalf of my friend. I called the hotel prior to my friend’s arrival and told the staff that it would only be my foreign friend who would be there. The staff instructed me to send an email with my friend’s name and I also forwarded my friend the details of the room reservation. When he checked in, there was no problem on 20/10 but the counter staff was rude to him when my friend got back to the hotel around midnight. Most of the staff are foreigners, hence it reflects badly on S’pore’s reputation. I was appalled when my friend told me this when I had already done as per the instructions of the hotel staff and told them that although the reservation was made & paid by me, my foreign friend would be the only one in the room. It’s really unprofessional of the staff at the reception to ask my friend who else was in the room when I had already done so. In conclusion. It would always be better & more professional to have a local hotel staff in the front line.
